Laying plywood on concrete floor.
You could screw the battens down into the concrete if you like but its not going to go anywhere if you don t.

Alternatively screw rows of treated 1x4s to the concrete 16 in.
Screws and nails may be spaced farther apart.
Sheets can be butted together just touching not forced tightly together or they can be gapped about 1 8 inch or so.
Use a minimum 3 4 inch cd exposure 1 plywood sheathing 4 foot by 8 foot sheets.
It is best to lay the flooring plastic side down directly onto the cement floor.
One way to attach plywood to a concrete surface is to screw it into place with concrete fasteners.
It can be installed on top of concrete before hardwood flooring or another type of material is installed.
Lay as many of these sheets as you need on the concrete to make the first layer of subfloor.
Another way that involves less strain and hard work is to glue the plywood to the concrete.
